real stories. real neighbors. real time.
what is nabe.
nabe. is a new kind of local news platform — a real-time, swipeable video feed that shows what’s happening on your block right now. Instead of waiting for news crews or sifting through chaotic social feeds, you get authentic updates straight from your neighbors.
why nabe. matters
Local news is disappearing
Across the country, newsrooms are shrinking. Communities are left without coverage or trustworthy updates.
Social feeds are chaotic
Information spreads fast — but not always accurately. It's hard to know what's real, what's important, or what's happening near you.
Neighborhoods need real-time visibility
From safety to culture to everyday moments, people want to know what's happening around them — quickly and reliably.
nabe. brings local news back, one block at a time.
founder’s story
I’m a longtime TV news producer, mom, and New Yorker who felt increasingly disconnected from what was happening right outside my door. Social media became noisy. Local discovery became fragmented. So I built nabe. — a swipeable, video-first neighborhood platform designed to help people quickly see what’s happening around them in real time.
From breaking moments and local news to restaurants, events, and culture, nabe. is built to make cities feel more connected again.
I’m not a tech founder from Silicon Valley. I’m a working mom bootstrapping this from New York City because I genuinely believe local connection matters.
And in a city like this, there’s always something happening around you.
nabe. helps you see it.
